Hello, I'm
Alison Whitfield
I work brilliantly together with …

People who value open communication, collaboration, and a bit of a laugh along the way. I thrive alongside colleagues who are proactive, honest, and solution-focused — people who care about doing great work but don’t get stuck in the negative. I work best in environments where feedback flows freely, ideas are shared, and everyone’s trusted to get on with things while supporting each other.

You’ll convince me to get on board by …

Being transparent and clear about what you’re trying to achieve. You'll show me that you've thought through the opportunities with an open mind, as well as the challenges.

What motivates me to come into work each day is …

Knowing I can make a real difference to how people experience the workplace. I believe we should create an environment where people feel interested, fulfilled and trusted while being able to be themselves and have fun.

When I'm dealing with stress, I ...

I try to pause and get some perspective. I'm working on being open about when I need support but sometimes you'll see me go into "fix-it" mode taking too much on myself.

The best way to give me feedback is …

Be direct, specific, and kind. I value honesty and prefer hearing things straight, even if it’s uncomfortable — as long as it’s said with good intent.

I think feedback is most valuable when it’s part of an open conversation, not just a one-way message, and when it’s focused on helping me grow or improve rather than just critique.

The basics you should know about me are ...

I'm happy to be called Alison or Allie

I live in Cheshire so work in the Huddersfield office a few times a month - I really value intentional, purposeful in-person time with the team.

Outside of work I'm a toddler Mum, love a good book and hiking.

I exercise a lot and try to eat well - but also live for a good cheese and wine or a coffee catch-up. I'm all for balance 😄

If you make me a cup of tea, make sure it's strong!

Beyond work, I’m really passionate about ...

Sport is a massive interest of mine - I play and watch netball and regularly watch rugby league, football, tennis and athletics 🏐🏉🎾👟

I love live music, quizzes and losing myself in a good book or audiobook. I'm on track to finish 25 this year.

My absolute requirements to do great work are ...

Clear expectations of what we want to get out of a task or project - always start with WHY.

Trust and autonomy to get on with things and the freedom to collaborate.

Sometimes coloured pens and post it notes, I like to get visual!

Three things I’ve done recently which I’m proud of are …

🫱🏼‍🫲🏼 Standardising the Katchr Onboarding Process to give our new hires more structure and support managers to onboard well

💡 Collaborating with the team to grow understanding of each other's working styles

🥾 Meeting my health and fitness goals, including tackling solo hiking!

My best working patterns look like ...

I'm usually online and available between 08:00 and 18:00 and flex my working hours around childcare and what's in the diary.

I get a lot of my creative energy in the afternoons so you'll often find me with my head down focusing at the time!
